▬ Lacoste-Borie

Notes : 15/20 J M Quarin – 15/20 Bettane+Desseauve
Assemblage : 67% Cabernet Sauvignon - 23% Merlot - 10% Cabernet Franc
"The Château Lacoste-Borie 2014 has a very seductive nose in the making, with ripe blackberries and blueberry scents, interwoven with incense and a touch of graphite-more sophisticated than I was expecting. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. This is an elegant Lacoste-Borie with fine tannin, my only quibble being that the oak is a little too conspicuous toward the finish. Of course, that may be subsumed during the barrel aging." Neal Martin

- Millésime 2015 :
Notes : 16,5/20 J. Robinson - 90-91/100 J. Suckling - 15,25/20 J.M. Quarin
Assemblage : 60% Cabernet Sauvignon - 30% Merlot - 10% Cabernet Franc
"Soft and silky second wine of Grand Puy Lacoste. Medium to full body, juicy fruit and a velvety tannic finish." James Suckling

- Millésime 2016 :
Notes : 90/100 Decanter – 15/20 J.M. Quarin
Assemblage : 61% Cabernet Sauvignon - 29% Merlot - 10% Cabernet Franc
"It has a clean and precise bouquet, not as complex as some of its peers, yet with thoroughly enjoyable raspberry and blackcurrant leaf tinged with cedar. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy, slightly dry tannin on the entry, hints of dark chocolate interlacing the black fruit with a touch of cracked black pepper on the finish." Wine Advocate-Parker

- Millésime 2017 :
Notes : – 98/100 Decanter – 16/20  J .Robinson
Assemblage : 65% Cabernet Sauvignon - 26% Merlot - 9% Cabernet Franc
"The 2017 Lacoste-Borie, the second wine of Lacoste-Borie, is plump, juicy and inviting. In other words, everything a second wine should be. The dark red and blue plum fruit is nicely pushed forward in this very pretty, supple Pauillac. Tasted two times." Vinous

- Millésime 2018 :
Notes : 16,5/20  J .Robinson – 89-92/100 Vinous (A. Galloni) – 15,5/20 J.M. Quarin
Assemblage : 61% Cabernet Sauvignon - 31% Merlot - 8% Cabernet Franc
"This is star bright and juicy, and certainly settles in the glass to show its rich tannic structure. It’s not as creamy through the mid-palate as in 2015 or 2016 but there’s no question that Lacoste-Borie is a sure-fire quality choice and this is a lovely wine" Decanter

- Millésime 2019 :
Notes : 16,5/20  J .Robinson – 91-93/100 Vinous (A. Galloni) – 91/100 Decanter – 15,75/20 J.M. Quarin
Assemblage : 62% cabernet-sauvignon - 29% merlot - 9% cabernet franc
"Some traces of the warmth of summer here in that fruits are brambly with traces of fig and just a little soft on the finish. It's still a great quality Pauillac and one that will deliver this well-loved 2nd wine's signature success, but I'd pick the 2018 or 2016 as more representative of what it can do at its best." Decanter
